Seafaring professions are a reality today and sometimes not well-known.. IAM’s mission is to promote seafaring culture in all its forms.
Seafaring professionals include a variety of professional community that includes the entirety of maritime transport, port logistics and auxiliary transport activities, shipbuilding, recreational boatbuilding, fishing, the Navy, Port Authorities, and the Professional Training with Seafarers.
In general, one belongs to a category known as “Seafarers.”
Italian Seafarers are divided into three categories. To join seafarers, simply go to the Port Authority – Seafarers Section and fill out the application form.

Personnel engaged in deck services, engine services and, in general, technical services on board:
